 "her path to integrity"

"the crossing"

welcome sea! welcome sea!
doth thou carry him to me?
welcome sea, do whisper thee
news of maritime decree!

endless tick of hand so slow
beckons how his journeys flow,--
beacon shines to skies above
`tis return that he will know.

just one night is all he needs?
add one night with
morrow's deeds!

Wild nights! Wild nights!
Were I with thee,
Wild nights should be
Our luxury!

Futile the winds
To a heart in  port,--
Done with the compass,
Done with the chart.

Rowing in Eden! Ah! the sea!
Might I but moor
To-night in thee!
