God Is Love

Do not believe all who will claim,
The Spirit of God to proclaim;
And of having within their heart,
Heavenly love for to impart.

Find out by giving them a test,
If it's true or they only jest;
Seeing if the Lord they do trust,
Or just a sham of hidden lust.

The truth will shine within their eyes,
Letting you see through their disguise;
Their eyes are windows for their soul.
That will show who is in control.

If all you see is only love,
God sent His Spirit from above;
Filling their heart the loving care,
To give them the power to share.

We love because God loved us first,
And cares enough to quench your thirst;
Be willing to share and not hoard,
But paying back onto the Lord.
