The Lord and Savior of my soul
I wanna dance with my Jesus
He's the one that made me whole
When my time on earth is through

When upon his face gladness brings
A heavenly choir of angelic beings
The music will be so very serene
As I look into the face of my King
I'll praise and worship and honor Him

As I glide across the heavenly floor

Dear Pastor Linda:
Thank-you so very much for your poem, for the music,
for seeing in the spirit the joy that awaits us.
When I hear this, I feel like an unworthy Cinderella
in dirty rags, so unworthy of being in the heavenly presence
of our King. Invited / accepted by Him. Afraid to look into
His eyes for my unworthiness, and yet with this music
I can see Him approaching me, and extending his hand
first to my face, placing his fingers under my chin and
lifting my face so that my eyes look into his, and He says -
without saying a word - that I am beautiful, his bride,
and he reaches to majestically embrace me as we
royally assume a posture of love and dignity and dance
the most perfect and beautiful heavenly waltz you could
ever imagine - perfect - light-smoothly flowing - elegant,
but above all, loving. Waltzing with tears in my eyes,
a lump in my throat, and greatfulness in my heart, almost
like we are the only two in heaven for this moment.
Bless you for having eyes to see this, and caring enough
to share it. It seems so much more real when all of the
senses are involved doesn't it? We should minister to others
with ALL of our senses like this. I believe it would have more impact.
With your permission, I would like very much to share this with
other women, especially women of Aglow I minister to.
I believe this would make their relationship with our heavenly groom
so much more vivid and alive and generate a passionate
anticipation in our waiting for and on Him.
