After a long battle Maddie got her wings
She's up in heaven and star dust she's sprinkling
What a beautiful soul she was since her birth
She'll never know the impact that she had on earth
Her frail little body endured so much pain
Now her departure has become heaven's gain
In a few short years her life really made a difference
This was shown at her funeral of all the appearances
Although she had challenges she still shared a smile
Touching hearts along the way all of the while
She's smiling down from heaven now
As she watches over all the crowd
Wishing they could see her sitting on the clouds
Sprinkling star dust on her loved ones all around
Her tiny little body has now been made whole
She's able to run and play on streets of pure gold
Many may not know that her purpose was fulfilled
For this little one shared God's love forever instilled
In every heart she came in contact with even online
Her spirit shined through into all hearts and minds
Although her years were but a few
Her memory will live on with a legacy too
As it's been said ;Love isn't love til you give it away
Her face is now the sunlight that brightens the day
Forever etched and engraved in our hearts
Little Angel Maddie's memory will never depart
For she shared the true meaning of love
While here on earth and now from above
To live, love and laugh while you can
Have faith in the Savior of all man
Don't be sad cause she is still near
Watching and waiting for when you appear
On that day the celebration will be
Glorious for all your friends and family
Never to suffer life's pain and sorrow
Wait on the Lord for a brighter tomorrow
