I Am
Today darkness fills your mind
Depressed the state seems all the time
Suffer you do with other pains
All hurt as if they were the same
You wrestle with so much in heart
Each day you feel you're torn apart
Depressed, oppressed you second guess
Yourself today a great big mess
I see your pain and what you bear
Upon your heart, in life not fair
But trust for I will soon defeat
What has confused you strong now weak
Your calls I hear each night you cry
Today you wish you would just die
But your my child, daughter I keep
Take heed beloved who does not sleep
I Am the GOD who made the Seas
I Am the One that most don't see
I Am just One the One who cares
I Am who bared the cross all bare
I Am whose hands can heal what steals
The breath of air and all you feel
I Am but One unlike no other
Who rules above and Hells fire smother
I Am who calms the worst of storms
I Am the GOD who lifts all worn
I Am, I Am unlike no other
The one who made who birthed your mother
I Am the answer to all who pray
To me in faith, then, now, always
Just call in faith and you will see
What I have willed and have decreed
That pain you feel that no one sees
Will soon be gone I promise thee
