CLOSING THE BOOKAs you who write poetry know Poetry is often written in deep emotions I started writing the day Mom died I published, "Womb of the Same Mother!" In her memory and she never read it Only hope in some way it made its way to heaven Weeks ago I brought a copy to my Sister Only to find she too was on her dying bed I am closing the book please take it to heaven For no longer myself will the book be reread Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
