Feels as if I'm universes away
With no effective plan to return
So I try to make this place home
Or at least plan for a long stay
Trying to get used to the language barrier
Though their English is quite perfect
Their hearts speak a different dialect
Not sure if I'm ready to understand just yet
My heart is shut wide open
With the lights remaining off
Right now it doesn't seem very inviting
Doesn't seem if I'll ever love again
