Musings by The Poet Loriet
everything
dog without owner
black without night
crowd without a loner
bird without flight
night without stars
tears without salt
smoky dark bars
songs without notes
where's my sunshine
my bright blue skies
perfumed jewel mine
satin bedroom eyes
drifting at sea
days blend into night
neither starboard nor alee
who turned off the lights
i feel all these things
lost without your touch
hopeful when the phone rings
missing you so much
will you be my baby
my funny valentine
no is blue without navy
poetry without rhyme
yes is suspended elation
life nourishment breath
i want to be your everything
just say yes
to my love
