I lie in a state of cold despair.
Every ounce of precious joy that
I've ever known has evaporated.
Each wonderful memory that we made
has been unceremoniously erased.
The warmth of my heart has been
utterly extinguished.
My soul lies in the depths of misery
and mourns without solace.
There is no satisfaction to be found
in my aimless life.
I have grown weary and forlorn for
my sweet love and I are now separated
by the vastness of eternity.
