Living in a world
Where peace is outweighed by tragedy
Young children taken from us
Way before their time
Every day
More and more people lose their mind
Many suffering in poverty
The innocent paying for other's sins
And still, we're nowhere close
To it being the end
Everyday distractions
Endless temptations
What is it about Lady Seduction
Showing up when you're trying
To follow the path of Wisdom
Thinking of more problems
And less solutions
People try to shift the blame
But it all starts by looking in the mirror
Then you can begin to see the whole picture
People's weaknesses are exploited
And others are quick to criticize
When will we begin to realize
That coming together is the answer
Only then will peace be a bit closer
