Insects and birds and animals
All seek a mate in life~
To spend their entire future with
A doted husband and a doted wife~
For them it does not take forever and a day
Looks do not matter so much it's true~
More likely two come together as one
In no longer than a week or two~
They both know what they are looking for
A lifelong true mate and a friend~
Two both as one take on all the basics
And stay together inlove till the end~
Both as honest despite life's diversities
No mind games or cheats here at all~
Seeing life right through day and night
Via all good times and bad that might just call~
Life could be just so simple
If humans were in any way the same~
If both parties were as basic and as honestly
As simple when it came to the mating game~
