Be Grateful
When you look back at life you lived
Does you heart see what GOD does give
The morning Sun that kept you warm
Your dwelling place, safe from the storm
Do you feel what his heart showed
His love for man some still fore go
Love unique, where he bared all
Your sin and mine though we still fall
How could one focus on some things
That rob the best of offerings
Through blood spilled, not of their own
By CHRIST whose seed was to be sown
The food that grows upon this Earth
The child you bare by woman birthed
That smile someone gave you a stranger
Blessed by JESUS, born in a manger
The simple and complex that makes
All that you have and give and take
Have been forged to see you through
Each day you wake, each breath you drew
Some will point to the stars and say
The Big Bang Theory made it this way
From Ape to man, who wrote this story?
Darwin's theory stole mankind's glory
Grateful this word we fail to show
Abba our father who sees and knows
The worldly state that man is living
Yet still loving and still forgiving
G od gave you strength today
R each out to Him who is the way
A ll seeing and all knowing
T he love for man today still showing
E ternity is yours to ask for
F orgived are you so much in store
U nique is He who calls to you
L ove His, saved the world, that too!
