The Chariot

Somewhere over the rainbow
My heart wants to fly
High into the sky
Where troubles are nigh!

High above the earth
Looking for rebirth
Leaving my life behind
True faith must be blind!

<♥>
 
I'm at the end of the line
No longer treasures do I find
My footsteps I leave behind
No need for them to climb!

<♥>
 
At the end of life's journey
We ascend not on a gurney
But with wings from above
Carrying us home with love.
