God knows what's in your heart
You must know that
He's given you so many beautiful things
You can have and look them at
You can cheat and be deceitful
And steal and tell lies
But to God you can never deceive
No matter how much you try
God knows what's in your heart
Is the one you can't outsmart
Because God knows what's in your mind
He knows everything about mankind
You might trick any one you want to
But God knows exactly what you're thinking you see
He really knows what's in your heart
And knows your past, present and future too
God knows what's in your heart all the time
He knows you better than anyone else does
So next time you say or do something bad
Remember that God is right there with you.
