 MOODY  BLUES

I stayed in the last condo facing the ocean side
Thru a paned window I watched the foamy tide
Slumber had escaped me this cold winter's night
My silence swept away, dissolving into moonlight
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Seashells slept below with secrets left behind
Images began to dance within my sterile mind
The night paints splattered upon my soul within
Somewhere in distant time my head is in a spin
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Transfixed on a balcony I smell the sea perfume
I hear the Moody Blues in a cerulean covered room
A concourse of emotions, a refuge of my illusions
Somewhere within me a swirling vault of confusions
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
