Living in a world
Where to catch a glimpse
Of a prince's ex wife
We chased her down
Eventually costing her her life
We've seen a young girl
Turn into a sex symbol
Throughout the world a pop icon
That we loved and praised
Now we turn our back since her minds gone
We're quick to criticize
At her expense we have so much fun
Instead of opening our arms
When it's clear she's suffering from depression
Her sanity dwindling
We're at war and clearly we made mistakes
But now the world hates Bush
And the decision his administration makes
When did we learn being Pres of the United States
Meant you were superhuman
When Bin Laden took away so many lives
We were quick to say off with his head
When we found Saddam and did this
People said who are we
To decide if he should be dead
We invaded Afghanistan and everyone cheered
Wanted to show the Taliban we had no fear
Tried sending the same message to Iraq
Ain't it funny how Christian the world became
And even Americans didn't have our back
A country still killing in Saddam's name
Seems to have more support than Bush
Are there causes better than ours
Over there our soldiers are dying to protect
Our home filled with many cowards
We're so quick to place the blame
So quick to say this isn't what God wants
But God told us not to judge
He told us to help others in need
And towards this we won't even budge
