It Had Been So LongIt had been so long since she'd known love Life for her had not been kind~ Always a loving caring soul True love yet a dream to find~ It had for most of his entire life A search for one only loving soul~ How often he had wished that he could find A true love as in days of old~ With no real thoughts of true love at all These two walked within a garden park~ Both alone and within their thoughts Looked up , And born the strangest spark~ Both smiled and then a short hello A magnetic charismatic reaction then~ Not knowing why but could not pass by A dream was born as away back when~ Only within their eyes they became then one How the strangest feelings they begin~ Two hearts had met and fates plan set As two souls first looked within~ Such feeling each could not deny As they walked and talked they became one~ And found more and more each other they adored True love that day was found and won~ It became to be their destiny That later on the vows were made~ Never to be ever alone again Fates plans for true love were set and laid~ Terrence Michael Sutton copyright 2008 Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
