Ever since time it self begun
We've had so much personnel control~
What to think and how to be
Since long gone days of old~
Politics and religion too
Of how all are supposed to be~
Even when within ones home
It goes so far back into history~
That at that time done thing,same old ring
Has always been but changing so~
Trying to have the entire world as one
Though it's impossible we know~
Different views by the worlds me's and you's
That makes up the life that we all know~
A chosen few not living and let live
As upon this earth that we all grow~
Was not long ago they even burnt
Innocent souls in fires hot~
For not thinking as they thought they should
In some ways things have not changed a lot~
In many a way some old ways stay
In dark ages a good few they still live~
Trying to insist that all walk the line
And to their rules to love and live and give~
Some things excepted by powers that be
So they can remain and still control~
Would raise the eyebrow of God himself
Unlike in days of old~
However still all souls like days of old
Are all different in so many ways~
Yet still onward goes so many controlling blows
Personnel thinking fading day by day~
So often in lands of milk and honey behind all lies money
Almost the reason for control all the time~
And still another plan for control through the land
To have all souls simply walk the line~
Of late what we can eat,almost wear on our feet
How we should love and be~
All bodies wanted slim,seems a soul can't win
As they try to control our destiny~
An open mind you'll always find
Is earths most needed and important commodity~
To be ourselves as best we can
To have happiness, and freedom of ability~
To be honestly real and be allowed to feel
As we choose to be within~
And to rid the world of the ever so many
That profess never to sin~
