 The Last Supper
Photobucket

All twelve did gather, upon upper floor
Alone felt JESUS, knowing what was in store
As Christ in his heart saw what was to come
His life sacrificed to grant man the Kingdom

The table was set as so was the time
This meal was His last, all felt hard to find
That one would betray, He they called Lord
One CHRIST would reveal who was not in accord

Again evil reared it's Earthly face
The man JESUS loved, revealed by disgrace
Judas Iscariot, surely not I Rabbi
Responded Judas, losing grace with this lie

Bread was broken along with hearts too
As JESUS gave thanks, His words but a few
Take this and eat, for this is my body
Communion was birthed for mankind, everybody

He then raised the cup, filled with red wine
Giving thanks He then spoke these words divine
This is my blood of the covenant poured
Forgiveness was birthed, for man He restored

Evil wringing it's hands with elation
Would pace about CHRIST, cursed with jubilation
Knowing too well His end was at hand
As CHRIST was the answer, but faithless was man
