I want you
to buy something
pretty
something new
tonight's gonna be
a late night baby
a party for two
the car is coming
to get us at seven
we'll sip wine
on the way
we'll walk underneath
love shining bright
twinkling in the sky
like it is in our hearts
hand in hand
on the boardwalk
on our favorite streets
a sip here
a taste there
hand in hand
we'll watch the fireworks
knowing how lucky we are
how magic is a chance
you have to take
we'll walk away
as the fireworks fade
into a smiling moon
hand in hand
to our dinner reservations
late night celebration
we'll order appetizers
entrees
deserts
nightcaps
relaxed
content
hand in hand we'll walk out
into our night
our late night of celebrating
this love
this night
this life
and a future
that seems all but
simply magical
as we get back into our car
driven home listening
to our favorite music
buzzed with wine
love
friendship
and a beautiful
forever.
