Petes Poetry

The piper who thought he could sing.

Once upon a time.
There was a piper who thought he could sing.
He had a gift.
Even angel wings.

But as much talent as he had.
The noises he made were extremely bad.
The people of the town thought he was mad.
When his true intentions were to make everyone happy and glad.

He sung tunes completely out of key.
He thought it was his right.
He thought he was free.
But he was possessed by an evil light.
So strong he was blind to see.

He sung a woman a sad song
Hoping to woo.
She didn't hang around long.
She had to go and spew.

So sad mad and morbid this man.
People thought he had the heart of the Greek god Pan.
This evil smelly disgusting creature.
When all he needed to do was give a penny to the preacher.

He wouldn't take advice.
He thought he was being nice.

But one day at the lake
He saw his true reflection.
"for Pans sake"
"No wonder I'm facing rejection"(said piper)

Then suddenly a beautifully colored bird flew down
"I'm the one who can sing, how dare you try and mimic my sound"(said bird)

"you have the gift of the pipe for a purpose"
"You no longer need to be a freak in a circus"(said bird)

So in the pipe he did blow.
It was the most beautiful sound you could ever hear.
His heart did glow.
People came near.
He became the star of the show.
He'd overcome his fear.
He found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
He found love and became sincere.

Pete.
