Heart Of The Matter

Unclipped

Photobucket

You unclipped my wings,
I learned how to fly,
You left the cage open,
I whispered goodbye,

The dreams became crowded,
I was lost to your view,
New dreams were emerging,
A new one came true,

I drive in the fast lane,
I'm now built for speed,
No tears of regret,
Today, there's no need,

Hearts heal that are busy,
I watched you move on,
Then just in a moment,
The old dream had gone,

The new dreams are brighter,
They come to fruition,
But I had to pull back,
Trusting; pure intuition.
