Imagine
Sitting in a quiet place,
In a quiet time,
I can almost see her face,
Coming near to mine.
Our kiss is such a wonderful thing,
So gentle, at first, then more urgent,
We both want it to never end,
But breathing must take precedence.
We pull away after so long,
We look at each other and smile,
For we both know this is not wrong,
So we do it again for a while.
After some time we again untwine,
Realizing this is getting serious,
We must be sure before tasting the wine,
We are not just being curious.
I know for me there is no doubt,
As I look at this face before mine,
This is what I have dreamed about,
For all my life and time.
Sitting in a quiet place,
In a quiet time,
I can almost see her face,
I wish it was real this time.
