Soul Mates
Inspiration comes from many places,
Some kind words, our family,
From some beautiful faces.
But the inspiration I speak of,
Is from a place so deep,
You almost have to wrench it free,
And hold it if you want it to keep.
It comes from your very soul,
And the soul gives nothing up that easy,
For the soul is life and life means all,
The intensity making me feel queasy.
I do not wish for this to pass,
But again my heart feels fear,
I wish, I want, I pray it will last,
Everytime you are near.
For you are my inspiration dear,
That I cannot deny,
The thought brings my eyes to tear,
For with this I cannot lie.
I love you with all my heart and soul,
My soul all tattered and torn,
I will love you till the stars go out,
And I have since the day I was born.
