It's in the storms God helps us survive
Each storm we go through prunes us to be
More powerful and strong like a deep rooted tree
It's only the strong that will not be defeated
Take up your cross and follow the Lord Jesus
He promised He'll never leave nor forsake you
His word becomes life for it reveals what to do
There's other books you may choose to read
Only the living word of God will set you free
Don't be defeated for the devil is a liar
Keep pressing forward with vigor and desire
Know that Jesus will give you the strength
If you speak out the word and just believe
Nothing you go through will not be worth it
For there's a reward for faithful servants
