The Youth Of Today
My gun speaks my words
So don't mess with me
For shots will be heard
And then I will be free
It's not like years before
When we faced our defeats
You'll fall face to the floor
And your words you will eat
This seems to be the thinking
Of the youth of today
For tears keep on streaming
As we kneel and we pray
How long must this go on?
What words can we say?
To change this way of thinking
Of the youth of today
I'm going to be famous
They'll remember my name
They won't think of Jesus (They'll pray to their Jesus)
When I put them to shame
The names that they called me
Will come back to haunt
They will finally see
When they hear the final shots
This seems to be the thinking
Of the youth of today
For tears keep on streaming
As we kneel and we pray
How long must this go on
What words can we say
To change this way of thinking
Of the youth of today
We are living in a world
Where our youth live in fear
Where each boy and each girl
Have cried many tears
Can we make this world safer
So our children can grow old
We must seek our creator
Cause only God in heaven knows
