All born in his likeness
That's the very words he said~
None of us simply perfect
But he still loves us all instead~
We are all subject to human behavior
In many ways it's true~
Some look at life through rose colored glasses
The rest simply do the best that one can do~
But I always tell that story
Without at all meaning to preach~
About the native and the ever educated man
Both walking upon the very same beach~
Older man was walking with a bucket of crabs
And an educated man was out for a stroll~
Educated,considered himself so very wise
Older, not all that very knowing or that old~
Older man walked from north to south
The educated man the other way~
And as they got closer together
The educated man he had then to say~
You want to put a lid upon those crabs
They will get out if you don't I say~
The Older man said to him impossible
They cannot get out , no way~
Why can't they get out the educated man said
That bucket is almost full to the top~
Well said the Older man they are just like humans
And that's why they cannot~
What do you mean , like humans the educated man said
The Older man looked at him with a smile and a frown~
And said,Well every time one climbs up
Two others always pull him down~
It's such a shame that so many go so far
out of their way to be just like these crabs .
