day trip to the islewent over studlands ferry to visit swanage town twas a lovely double decker bus ride saw nudists there today saw you look the other way then lots of grockels joined us in the bay came here for their holidays many came from birmingham where the rotunda dwells others came from redditch they loved the sights n smells we saw the steam railway thats famous in the town where enid blyton wrote her books you could buy once for half a crown full of adventure n crooks saw the corfe castle in the distance the sandy beaches too the punch n judy shows the beautiful sights of the purbeck isle views we watched the tide come in we stayed there for a while portland stone was chipped nearby we heard the gulls cry as they swooped upon the shore the children ate their ice creams then they wanted more Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
