Lord, sometimes, is so hard
To do your Holy and Divine will
The way that You want us to
But with You we can climb the hill
This world can be so cruel sometimes
And people can be so cold and mean.
There are also all of those other times
When in our heart we rebel against Your plan
But You know this and that everyday
In our heart we're really ashamed
When we're not listening to You
And for that we got ourselves to blamed
So, Father in Heaven, please give us the strength today
To follow You through in everything You say
Help us to learn from what Your Holy Word teaches us
Help us to love and forgive the ones who hurt us too.
