Older ValentinesLooking back on days gone by Memories like stars in the sky~ I knew I'd search for true love Till the day I die~ Having lived almost three lifetimes in one I sometimes look back on all I've done~ Sometimes lost and sometimes won But they say after rain always comes sun~ I used to wonder where I'd die I'd wonder when and wonder why~ My life has vastly now unraveled One thing for sure I sure have traveled~ It's all been an education and a wonder But to this day some things about I ponder~ However one thing I do know now for sure I will die so loved and loved for ever more~ Of all the wonders I've known in this world The greatest of them all is one sweet girl~ Who adores me endlessly and within And I've adored her since we both begin~ It took me almost a lifetime to feel this way But i finally found my one Tracy May ~ Terrence Michael Sutton copyright 2008 Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
