His anguish teared for mankind blood
Alone again teardrops would flood
Perspired by love and fear CHRIST felt
For JESUS alone in garden knelt
Pain suffered in heart and soul
The very CHRIST scripture foretold
Would cry father please pass this cup
I'm sure GODS son suffered enough
Arise Christ would to check on them
To sense disciples, prayers would lend
Comfort, a path, away from temptation
Sleeping He'd find those granted salvation
One hour, He cried is all that I asked
Was this just too much, too great of a task
Asking myself, How selfish are we
The key to salvation, ignored on his knees
Anxiety poured out, beyond imagination
Prayers were few by His delegation
For CHRIST on His own would sacrifice
His life for ours, the ultimate price
An angel descended and watched JESUS cry
To Abba, His father with tearful eyes
Passion pressed hard on His masters heart
With wings wrapping Christ, the end would now start
Alone walked our Christ in the wilderness
Suffered rejection and ungratefulness
Alone He would feel the pain of mans sin
Yesterday as today man still knows not Him
Alone in Gethsemane the world He did bare
Upon lashes whipped, on back He would wear
Inequities ours, so undeserving
For this CHRIST was born, for man He was serving
The angel brought comfort and peace to the Prince
As the powers of darkness sneering hisses would wince
As JESUS arose again by the power
Of almighty God crushing sin in that hour
