Old Life Gone

I sit in a corner, deep in a trance.
Time passing me by, as I suddenly glance
at what I have, I should be glad.
I feel so confused, it is driving me mad.

Life is too short to dwell on the past.
My old life was wonderful, while it did last.
I have to move on now, so tough that is going to be.
A decision I have come to, I have to break free.
