little billthey called him little bill cause he was only small he wasn't born rich always was poor he smoked twenty woodbine's a day told a yarn n limerick to past the time away they called him little n not often for he was never much in demand but he could play shove halfpenny at cards he often had the winning hand he road the trucks for cousin Sid he kept all his dreams so well hid they called him little bill cause he was tiny n small he worked dam hard n never broke the law he worked in the iron foundary each day at night he was in the pits making clay little bill often he would go up on hill though he never shopped or wrote a note he was often parted with his money gambling the gee gees made him broke they called him little bill he was one for the ladies in his youth he was joker and he'd tell jokes uncouth little bill Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
