They're on the move

they're on the make

Where else can you partake,

in a slice of cartwheel buttermilk cake

But, on The Boulevard

where you'll get a taudry taste of what you want

and a touch of all you need

Best you stay awake

for a double take

with your ice cream

and cake

on The Boulevard.

You can barter your wares

As minstrals pass time

serenading with rhyme

as into their cups

go your quarters and dimes..

If you ain't got alot

there's still room for your lot

Better shake what you've got.

on The Boulevard
