Age is just an hourglass,
Where time slowly passes through,
Age is unimportant,
For there's plenty in life to do.
The mind is like a crater,
Full of thoughts inside,
Age is just a blip,
That no one can ever hide.
No matter the age of people,
No matter how young or old,
You have to plough on through it,
Head high, strong and bold.
To me, age is a mere whisper,
On the sea of time,
No matter how life treats us,
It doesn't do any good to whine.
So though I am not old,
And even if I where,
My mind is at 19,
And my memory's very clear.
Things have changed through the ages,
And aging will always go on,
It'll always be there, for all mankind,
Until the process of life is done!
So when people ask of me,
My age, well…what is age?
It's the cycle of life - and forever will be,
For we live on life's great stage!
Age is but the passing of time,
I've got no time to waste on age...!
