Life is full of surprises,
And we never know what's ahead,
But we strive to move forward, always,
Rather than live in dread.
We seem to fear the unknown,
Because that's the way it is you see,
We shy away from what we don't understand,
When it's not what we want it to be.
Because that's the way it is,
We accept our lot in our life,
Good or bad, happy or sad,
It's the way of the world and his wife.

We're never fully happy you and me,

To live for the future and not day by day,
