Money...

Money's the root of all evil…they say,
The downfall of all good men,
But send some to me and I'll cope,
I'll spend it, then spend it again!

If money's the root of all evil,
Then why do we all want more?
We can't live with it, or without it,
So send me some I implore!

If money is all that we need,
Then I want loads for meself,
Fivers and tenners and fifties,
I'll have money if I can't have me health.

Money's the root of all evil, they say,
It causes worry and struggle and strife,
But I really don't care…give it here,
It'll give me a helluva life.

I'd travel all over the country,
And dole out the dough to the poor,
Give to the needy, but not to the greedy,
Cos I think I know the score.

When I'm down to me very last meg,
And me money has lost it's flow,
I'll wallow again, what a pain,
I'm back to having no dough.

Money's the root of all evil…they say,
And really I do agree,
So I'll take it, never mind the evil,
Just as long as you give it to me.
