My soul lies quietly within me
pondering the great glory of
God's wondrous creation.
The shimmering beauty of the stars
captures my wandering eyes.
My mind races furiously with fantastic
thoughts of the comets as they race by,
and the lovely sweetness of the Milky Way
spreads out grandly in the distant night skies.
My softly beating heart reflects quietly upon
the coolness of the full moon's bright light.
And my voices rises in thankfulness to the One
who created it all.
