Little bits of transformation
Swirled in and out
Around and about the night.
Some times a crux
Will shift the way
I see the world
Like when the moon is brewing
Towards its fullness
Mirroring my consciousness.
I have sought for so long
This elusive thing
Called humility
And been so egotistical
As to call it a farse,
False modesty.
I saw it when
I wasn't looking
And the lotus flower
Opens without any effort
On my part.
My only job
Is to observe
And appreciate
Its unfurling petals
In the light of love.
Then back into memory
And hindsight revealed
The bonds between friends
And why it was so powerful
And why none of us could
Put a name to it…
Connection
Past and far beyond
Perfection.
The desire to connect
To merge
To bring an inner reality
To share
The ultimate circle
Is only complete
In observation.
Eyes look into eyes
Petals seek the light
Lovers long to merge
The power isn't in the mind
It is lead by the heart.
At last I understand
They are partners,
Lovers,
And are more powerful
Together as allies
Then they ever were as
Conquerors over one another.
