June's Rhymes
He's Gone
Some days are really bad, and I'm very sad.
A sick feeling that stays, it won't go away.
My dear, darling child, so sweet and mild.
No longer does he play, he's been taken away.
All my agony started, when my son departed.
It's so hard to get by, some days I just cry.
I see him in my mind, somehow he seems fine.
I see him laugh and run, having so much fun.
And I'm laughing, too. I'm not sad and blue.
What a beautiful smile, on a beautiful child.
But he's not here, he's gone, so, very gone.
