MY WORKING GIRL

My working girl
She was a dog
Being my world
Now feeling robbed

By death again
It's sad my friend
To lose your dog

She was an alert affection
Proud, walking tall, territorial
Here for some protection
A dog's love is historical

My daughter, sweet sister
To heaven you're bound
Once held her hands and kissed her
I miss you around

My working girl.

In memory of Mikkayla Danelle Sampson
12/22/2003-2/7/2008
a female brindle boxer dog
as though a daughter to me
