I got lost the other night in my car!
Alone in a darkened, tree lined street,
Bottle gone and a nervous wreck,
Coz I'm not quick on my feet!
I envisaged a mugger at my window,
And was wondering what I'd do?
Planning my escape I was!
Oh what a fine to-do!
So when you phoned this morning!
And I told you of my plight!
And the fact that I was alone and lost!
And almost fainting dead with fright!
'You should have phoned me,' you said.
And flippin' 'eck, did I laugh,
'And just how could you help?' I asked?
Help this stranded peep called Cath!
'My mate has got a merc,' you said!
And I thought, 'what the heck?'
'Why would that come into the equation?' And you said, 'wait a sec…!'
'He's got this thingy in the car!'
And it tells you where you're at!'
'We could have rescued you,' he said.
And saved this frightened Cat!
What can I say to that?
Except, next time I'm up the wall!
You can be sure of one thing pal!
You're going to be the one who gets my call!
Ooooer, you know what Sean?
I'm so glad that I know you!
And all because you cared...in room,
About what I was going through!
So if I never meet another knight in armour,
One thing I know for sure,
I'll never forget what you did for me,
When I opened my IM door!
Knights in shining armour...you know!
Are few and far between,
Ooooer, and to meet up with one myself,
Helps realise a females dream!
Sometimes we want to be rescued!
That's cos at the end of the day,
We all need to be supported,
It helps make things ok.
