If Everyone Were Blind…!

If everyone were blind…!
There'd be no prejudices and hate,
No discontent!  No hurt…!
No racist, no hateful debate!

Why is there such passion?
Such an abundance of pain…
Why the spitefulness of people,
Tell me, what do they gain?

We are all mostly supposed to be Christians,
Well tell me, how is this so?
Because Christian people are supposed to be Godly,
So where do their compassionate feelings go?

To the wall, that's where,
Splattered and shattered about,
And all because of nastiness…!
Of that there is no doubt!

If everyone were blind…!
We'd have more harmony all around,
Peace, happiness and less hatred…
Hopefully, that's all that would be found!

But we will never know, will we!
For as long as people can see…
Prejudices will continue on…
And what an awful sad sight to see!
