Wandering
She turns her face up toward the sun,
As she wanders by the lake,
Thinking of a love just begun,
How her heart did ache.
She longs for the presence of him,
To be before her eyes,
So she could fold him in her arms,
Saying no more goodbyes.
He visits her every night,
As she lays asleep,
And she knew from very first sight,
This one was for keeps.
I wish her well in her quest,
For a love like no other,
Hoping that she will be blessed,
With kisses one after the other.
