A Horse Of A Different Brother
A simple trip to buy something
Would test Joey on greater things
A child of GOD, a work of art
Revealed itself with CHRIST in heart
Home Depot the testing ground
He'd walk the aisles until he found
The list of items that he would need
Construct the moment sin would indeed
A simple error unknown to him
This young woman, cashier, Muslim
Would overlook one of two
Horses purchased but Gods son knew
The bill was tendered and Joey left
Security would see no theft
Of goods purchased by this young man
As this guard looked with bill in hand
This new creation of 15 years
Would show why God holds him so dear
Would check his bill and scrutinize
The bill of goods was one horse shy
He could have walked away scott free
Not owing more but God did see
The man Joey is now today
Returned with what he did not pay
The cashier looked and waved keep going
Joey returned with words his sowing
I am a man of faith today
In CHRIST I live and choose to pay
I'm sure as sure as I write this
Some will lose the point and miss
That in this act GOD blessed a man
That once fell short, no longer damned
