Thank You Very Much Mom

Thank you very much mom
For the life you've given to me,
Times we didn't see eye to eye
To my heart, you've held the key.

I know I didn't say this
Many times as I should have,
I love you with my heart and soul
For my safety, you kept tabs.

Thank you very much mom
For always being there,
Your singing meant the world to me
I know you always cared.

Times that we used to stay up late
And have our little talks,
Watching our favorite hockey teams
During the day, we'd go for walks.

I miss those times, mom
I wish we could get them back,
Thank you for being my mom
Your love meant the world to me, that's a fact.

No one will ever take your place
You found ways to keep me calm,
Never forget that I love you
You'll always be my mom.
