 {} Your Poetry{}
hugs

I once read a poem you wrote
A sonnet to a lover lost
Sad words filled with melancholy
The forbidden line was crossed

Your words invoked much empathy
I was so touched by your pain
My heart cried at each line I read
I felt feelings I couldn't explain

I envisioned you being all alone
When evening's shadows fell
Without a kind ear to listen
Or a tender soul to tell

If I could be there to share your grief
Don't ask the question why
Would you accept my sincere wish
   That in my arms you'd cry?
