 Language of Enchantment

I count my treasures
In God's gifts to me,
In the song of a bird
Or the shade of a tree.

The smell of sweet flowers
Which fragrant the earth,
The beauty of life at
Each new creature's birth.

The sun's golden ribbons,
The stars' silver threads,
The mirth of a moonbeam
As dusk slowly spreads.

The music of morning
As dawn stages the sky.
The roar of a river
As it surges by.

The snowcaps on mountains
Paint scenes to remind
Of life's greatest treasures...
God's gifts to mankind.

Love in the Lord,
Doris Jacobs-Covington

"When I consider Your Heavens,
the work of Your fingers, The
moon and the stars, which You
have ordained." Psalm 8:3-4 NKJV
