Life is never easy,
You'll never hear that from me,
For I am one to never presume,
What my eyes can never see.
No one knows how we feel inside,
And we should never pretend we do,
For everyone has a degree of pain,
No one knows what we've been through.
We all have burdens in our life,
And we all have an abundance of pain,
But its do or die, and that is why,
We have everything to gain.
We must fight the good fight or go under,
Go forward and never back,
We struggle through it's all we can do,
Even if we have to take some flac.
No matter what happens in our life,
And no matter how bad the pain,
We do it for no-one, no-one at all,
But we do it for 'us' and we gain!
We gain our life and live it,
To the very best we can,
I know that you are strong enough,
And I'll help whenever I can.
We all need a shoulder to lean on,
And mine is here for you,
Anytime you need a friend...
Just shout is all you need to do.
Read and absorb my words,
And, listen to me, ok,
Your self worth is paramount,
You tell yourself this everyday.
One day at a time,
It's all that we can do,
But walk and never run,
And I promise it'll help you through.
For ourselves we do it,
For no-one else, but us coz you see,
We owe it to ourselves...to be strong,
Cos we're worth it, you and me!
So, never look over your shoulder,
To see what you left behind,
Forward and onward and upwards the way,
Don't lock yourself into a bind.
Do this for yourself,
Because you have much self worth,
And no one can take that away from you,
Nothing and no-one here on earth.
So, look inside, deep down,
And draw your strength from there,
Because you know you trust me, ok,
I don't lie, because I care!
Life is never easy,
I know you know its true,
But your life is so important,
And you know what you have to do.
So, listen to me, ok,
Find that strength from deep within,
You know its there, I need you to care,
When you accept it, you know you will win!
Never think I presume to know,
How you feel or deal with everyday,
With the trials and tribulations you face...
Cos if we slip, it's really ok.
So, you probably do your nut for this,
But tell me, do you think I'll mind?
Nope, you know I'll still be here,
I'm a good mate, as you'll find.
Read this when you feel like,
And always, always know,
That everything we do in life,
Chooses the path down which we'll go.
So, always look ahead,
Cos when all's said and done,
Once you realise you can do it,
Then you've already won!
