Faith Lift

Photobucket

Cosmetic surgery, I am told
Is used to correct sagging faces,
To lift up and revive the freshness
Ole Father Time erases.

While this is well and good
For those who choose to go this route,
In Christian circles we need help
To cut out every doubt.

Doubt works just the opposite
Of what faith is meant to do.
Spiritual surgery is required
To gain what God wants to renew.

He's provided us a measure
And it's ours--it's a gift.
We just need to stir it up.
What we need is a faith lift!

Most times we'll find it in The Word.
It's the best place to begin.
Or down upon our knees
Until a breakthrough burrows in.

We may find it in a church pew
When the preacher's preaching hard.
A faith lift is within our reach,
So let us reach out to our Lord.

Huggs In Him,
